The fxRAPIDO is a much faster programmer which makes it ideal for programming flash memory as well as small micros and eproms. It is fitted with a USB port which is about ten times faster than a 115K baud link to a PC. Also, increasingly PCs are not fitted with RS232 ports. Although the fxRAPIDO can be used stand alone, the PC utility supplied makes it easy for unskilled operators to repeat a job.

The programmers can be fitted with over 100 different gang plug-in socket modules (2 different ones shown) to cater for different families / packages etc.

Once set up using a PC, the F5000 and H8000 do not need a PC as they can be controlled using their optically isolated logic interfaces. The more versatile F5000 can store multiple data sets for identical or different targets. The choice of target can be made using the logic interface or a software command each time a device is programmed at almost no time penalty.
